Another spectacular place to experience the culture and art Chicago has to offer is at The Art Institute of Chicago. Their permanent collection is comprised of a variety of art from artists like van Gogh, Seurat, Matisse, and others. Tickets must be purchased in advance and start at $14 per person. The Art Institute is open from 11 AM to 6 PM Thursday-Monday.
If you’re looking for thrills and an incredible birds-eye-view of the city, Skydeck Chicago should be on your list of things to do! The Skydeck is a glass box over 1300-feet high and gives you an amazing vantage point of the city. Tickets are $30 per adult and $22 per child.
Chicago Riverwalk is opened to the public and is one of the perfect places to relax, take a jog, or check out some of the amazing restaurants in the city. If you’re feeling a little more adventurous you could also explore the Chicago River via water taxi, kayak, or cruise!
