Time of Thanks : A Message from our CEO

The holiday season is a time of thanks and reflection on the past year. This Thanksgiving, we would like to take the time to say thank you to our employees for their hard work and show our appreciation to our guests who call InTown Suites extended stay accommodations their home. We are truly grateful to you and hope you have a wonderful holiday season.

Making our guests happy with small gestures that make a big difference continues to be our recipe for success.  InTown has increased its investment in our people by creating the InTown University, which provides better training and education for colleagues at our properties.  These tools use technology to gauge, survey, and increase guest happiness, and that focus is why we outperform our competitors.

Proof that a friendly face and home-like accommodations are an effective formula can be found in what took place following Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.  Our locations filled up with people in need.  Guest SJ Haddon said: “We arrived at 4 PM and the Property Manager was very gracious and gave us the key to our room so we could inspect it first. It was neat and clean. We were grateful to have a good air conditioner, hot shower, and TV! Thank you InTown Suites Montgomery, especially Pat the Property Manager for making our hurricane adventure pleasant!” Another hurricane evacuee said: “I was at InTown Suites under the FEMA program. The two women that were working the desk were so nice and patient with the displaced families. I just wanted to let corporate know they were very professional.”

It’s the little things that go a long way in making our guests feel at home. A warm welcome. A friendly smile. A courtesy call. At InTown, kindness costs nothing but means everything. Stories of kindness can be found across the map in each of our 189 locations in 22 states, but we would like to highlight two below:

“With the holidays approaching Team ZCT wanted to help our community as much as we could. We donated two turkeys and one ham to the Chattanooga Community Kitchen.
