Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum

If you’re staying at one of our extended stay hotels in Nashville, TN, you may be looking for attractions to keep you busy. There is one place you must see and that’s the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum –you are in Nashville after all.

Accredited by the American Alliance of Museums in 1987, Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum is home to all things country music. This museum features one permanent exhibit, Sing Me Back Home: Folk Roots to the Present, and 6 rotating exhibits. As you make your way through the building you will experience the Sing Me Back Home exhibit. Start on the 3rd floor and learn about Folk Roots to country music in the 1960s. You’ll even be able to see Bill Monroe’s famous mandolin, the Gold Record Wall, and three other exhibits on this floor. On the 2nd floor, you’ll experience country music history from the 1960s to the present. Here you’ll also see the remaining three exhibits and the Hall of Fame Rotunda.

Not only can you visit the museum portion on this building, but you can also visit the Taylor Swift Education Center, the Historic RCA Studio B, The CMA Theater, and the Hatch Show Print.

The Taylor Swift Education Center not only features classrooms for after-school workshops, toddler programs, and more –but it has features an interactive gallery and youth art installations.

The Historic RCA Studio B is also a one-of-a-kind facility. Here visitors can experience the evolution of Nashville music from Elvis Presley to the Everly Brothers. The studio also features classrooms for students wanting to learn more about recording practices.

The CMA Theater in a 776-seat venue that hosts musicians like Wynonna Judd, Alan Jackson, Gavin DeGraw, and more! The theater also hosts an annual “Artist-in-Residence”, where a one specific famous country music artist holds 2 original shows annually.

Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum is just a short drive from Intown Suites Nashville.
