Lone Star Park

If you’re looking for a little excitement while staying at InTown Suites Dallas, TX, why not take a trip to Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie. Lone Star Park is a premier horse racetrack in Texas with a seven-level glass-enclosed building with seating and private lounges for its patrons.

Folks from all over the country come to see the Thoroughbred races and Quarter Horse races at Lone Star. Live Thoroughbred racing starts in April while Quarter Horses begin in September, but both are very exciting to watch.

There are multiple ways to watch the races at Lone Star including, general admission, terrace seating, seating at Silks Dining, penthouse seating, and seating at Bar & Book.

General Admission doesn’t require a reservation and is located on the first level outside. Patrons who choose general admission tickets are welcome to stand or sit on blankets or bring their own lawn chairs. Restrooms, wagering services, and concessions are all readily available on the first level. General Admission starts at $3.

Terrace seating is on the second level, and offers indoor tiered seating with four different seating options. Counter Seats, Terrace Carrels, Homestretch Box, and the Finish Line Box tickets all vary in pricing and amenities. Terrace seating starts at $9.

Seating at Silks Dining is located on the fourth level and is enclosed in glass. The dining room has a panoramic view of the track but also features TVs with a live stream of the races. Silk Dining Seating starts at $10.

Penthouse Suites offer luxurious private balconies to watch the race, wagering machines to place bets, and personal services to take care of your every need while at Lone Star Park. Included in your Penthouse services are the Chef’s buffet and unlimited bar service for your enjoyment. Penthouse Suites are $99 per person.

The Bar & Book admission is free. This sports bar and dining area have live races playing on all 400 TVs from all across the country. Make bets at the Vegas-style racebook while you enjoy dinner or drinks.
