Take your pick between delicious tacos, breakfast tacos, snow cones, old fashioned milkshakes, and much more at Cool & Hot Tacos on 8th Street. Located in a converted gas station/car wash, Cool & Hot Tacos attracts tourists, roadtrippers, and local alike with their famous picadillo, fajitas, tacos, and corn and flour tortillas.

Ssahm BBQ.

A different take on typical barbecue, Ssahm – a food truck – offers up delicious gourmet Korean BBQ tacos and burritos. Kalachandji’s.

Dallas isn’t all about BBQ and Tex-Mex. For over 32 years, Kalachandji’s has offered delectable vegetarian Indian fare on Gurley Ave in Dallas. Best known for its buffet and stunning garden courtyard seating areas, Kalachandji’s is the hot spot for curry dishes, pakora, dal, pullao, fresh breads, and so much more.

Wingfield’s Breakfast & Burger.

Sometimes, nothing but a good, old fashioned burger will do. When that craving comes along, be sure to check out Wingfield’s Breakfast & Burger on South Beckley Avenue. Known for their well-loved cheeseburger, Wingfield’s is a basic burger joint that also serves up a hearty breakfast. Prices run from $4.75 to $9.75. Simply put, Wingfield’s is a local favorite.

Mama’s Daughter.

A classic diner in style, Mama’s Daughter’s Diner serves up southern home cooking sure to please your palate. A city staple since 1958, head on in to the diner for homemade pies, cornbread, rolls, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and, our favorite, fried chicken.

Pizza By Marco.

No favorites list would be complete without at least one pizza listing, so here it is! When you’ve got a hankering for the good stuff, pay a visit to Pizza By Marco for a hot and fresh slice. Build your own, or choose one of the pre-made options – it’s up to you!
