If you're flying into the El Paso International Airport, be sure to pick a window seat so you can see the views of the Rio Grande as you touch down. You're bound to see lots of military men and women in the city, as the area is home to Fort Bliss, one of the largest military bases in the United States. If you enjoy a game of Texas Hold'em, try your luck at the Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino. El Paso is home to tons of restaurants and many of them specialize in Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine. El Paso has a desert climate, so at just about any time of year you visit, it will likely be warm and dry.
